At its monthly meetings, the Board of Directors (which is elected by the members) discusses tax-related issues and decides on appropriate action. Often, guest speakers present their views. Guest speakers may be invited by the board to speak, or may ask to present their views on some topic to the Board of Directors.
MUTA members and the public are always welcome and are encouraged to express their opinions and concerns.
Time: Second Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M.
Place: Central Marin Sanitary District Board Room, 1301 Anderson Drive, San Rafael.
A General Membership Meeting is held annually (usually at the end of the year), with prominent guest speakers on major taxpayer issues. Other meetings may be held throughout the year as needed. There may also be meetings held in conjunction with other organizations to discuss issues of common concern.
